Stagecraft

Students will learn about theatre production through classroom, written, and hands-on experiences.

Topics that will be explored include set design and construction, safety, striking a set, costume design, props, sound and lighting, and make-up.  Production, including, theatre business, advertising, theatre history, and script analysis will also be activities that are introduced in this class.  This course may be taken more than once with instructor's approval.  This course may require attendance at live theatre performances outside the school day, which will be tied to curricular assignments.
